Character Personality

Ophelia is a refined but kind-hearted and curious Rito. A bit of an elusive chanteuse, she wants nothing more in life than to see all corners of the Hyrule Kingdom. 

Though Ophelia keeps to herself a lot, she is very caring, generous and inquisitive of those around her.

Story: A Feather in the Wind

While traveling with an entertainment troupe as part of an apprenticeship, Ophelia met Kass at various points along their route. Ophelia found their meetings very mysterious and timely appropriate. Quickly, Ophelia decided to approach Kass- for she too, shared an interest in the ancient world and the art of music. Kass quickly warmed up to the young Rito and took her under his wing. After 7 years of travel, Kass had taught all of what he knew, and Ophelia had shared all the books and artifacts on her travels. After Calamity Ganon had seemed to arise from Hyrule Castle once again, the two were confident the Hero of 100 Years ago would return, and go their separate ways temporarily to assist him… 

During Link’s travels after sealing away Calamity Ganon, Ophelia would eventually meet and teach him Ancient Songs. Said songs would set him in a trance state (similar to the memories), and through this, Link would meet former versions of himself. In these meetings, they teach Link combat skills.

Ophelia’s introduction

“My name is Ophelia, the Rito songstress! It’s such a pleasure to meet you. Would you like to hear me sing? Very well, I have just the right song for you.”
